Hip Replacements :

Arthritis due to Avascular Necrosis of the bone ends most common in the hip joints due to AVN of femoral head, also seen in the shoulder and knee joints.

In Avascular Necrosis, blood supply to the head/ball of the femur has stopped causing death of bone and arthritis.
